LIKEaGIRL – Getting to the core of activity & sport - the fundamentals for girls'.
What causes the disconnect, avoidance and drop out amongst young girls? How can schools, clubs & NGBs overcome this at an early age? Is it just a case of P.E. v competitive sport? Fear of being judged? Or something much deeper? A conference & trade show. The Women's Sports Network, a world-leading community of some 50k, with our partners The Sports Marketing Network, are pleased to announce this investigative conference on the fundamentals of why #LIKEaGIRL!
Trade Show
We will be offering a small Trade Show alongside the conference specifically designed for schools, NGBs and smaller commercial suppliers to promote their products/services which may address the #LIKEaGIRL issues and values. This will NOT be an expensive, commercial 'show' but a genuine attempt to help schools, NGBs and smaller commercial suppliers to promote their products/services/ideas/ initiatives/programmes which may address the #LIKEaGIRL issues and values.
The conference will offer an opportunity to meet teachers, CSP's, clubs and coaches who are all keen to investigate better ways of engaging girls in sport and physical activity. You might sell fitness products, coaching tools/services or have programmes or inititiatives which are suitable. You might want to franachise your business or get more teachers for your classes in other areas of the UK?
The Trade Show will be open to 'suitable' exhibitors - they will be no charge but you will need to book TWO delegate places. Trade Show places are very limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis - we do however reserve the right to decline trade show applicants without reason. Please email hana.m@wsnet.co.uk with a brief description of you company/product/service and a website address. Hana will inform you if a place has been reserved and you will have 48 hours to book two places and confirm your space.
Exhibitors will be provided with a standard tressel table and chair in a marked space 3m x 2m. A power supply cannot be guaranteed, it is suggested that you avoid use of mains electricity.
