We are working with community radio station PulseFM to run #FemaleFitnessFortnight next September. We'll be drawing attention to the difficulties and lack of opportunities for women and girls to get fit/active AND signposting the importance smaller fitness clubs and classes across the UK. How to find time to fit it all in and - well just about everything around women's sport, fitness and wellness.
There'll be phone-ins, with roving reporters going out to try local classes from all over. Plus we'll have national and international athletes and players as surprise guests throughout the two weeks with tips on how to help women & girls get more active and keep fit. We'll be talking about how to get more active in your community AND how empowering sport and fitness can be. We'll also looking at employment/working in sport and fitness, getting into volunteering/coaching even setting up your own fitness business.
