The England women's cricket team is the team that represents England and Wales in women's cricket. They played their first Test match in 1934–35, when they beat Australia 2–0 in a three-Test series. Their current captain is Charlotte Edwards, replacing Clare Connor after her five-year tenure, which she finished in 2005 by leading England to their first Ashes series win since 1963.
There is also an England Women's Academy team, consisting of players just below the full England squad.
