Interested in Women's SPORT/FITness? . . . want to work with the UK's largest independent WomenSport/FITness community?
The Women's Sports Network (@WSNet) continues to grow following great campaigns such as #LikeAGirl & #ThisGirlCan and we're offering a three-month contract to work across a number of our channels listed below. To help us develop social media/internet channels and support and grow our community of c50k SPORT/FITness 'fans'. Starting mid-January 2016 partly from our small offices in Leatherhead, Surrey and partly 'on the move' or from home.
Twing_IT on TwingNET - Join the alliance. Be the change!!
The main area of work will be continuing to grow our position as a leading, global source of women's sports news by helping us build our rapidly expanding TwingNETwork of affiliates around the world (currently 14) - more info here on the TwingNET project .
You will be passionate about women's sport and its wider promotion around the world and be keen to engage others from a range of sports and locations in the build-up to Rio2016. You will need to work a flexible 4-5 hour day sometimes from our offices in Leatherhead but also from home. You may currently run your own blog and/or publish relevant 'information' on your Facebook pages. This is an ideal job for an enthusiast who wants to break into the world of social media reporting on WomenSport. Grad or non-grad - could still be studying, 'returning' or even taking time out from uni? You only need to be reasonably competent with technology :-) You MUST BE quick, accurate and tenacious in your work and will be trained to use our Content Management System and other basic Microsoft office products.
This position will enable you to get involved with other areas of sports marketing - particularly where digital/social media are paramount. We're looking for somebody who wants to investigate alternative channels to promote WomenSport - but there's quite a lot of routine work to get your teeth into - so you'll need to be accurate and tenacious. Ideally we would like somebody who is local to our small, Leatherhead office in Surrey.
Please drop me an email firstname.lastname@example.org - with a BRIEF three sentence accompanying note explaining your interest - plus a basic CV. Or you can use the 'submit' form on this page.
